UMMC Internal Medicine Residency Program: Hospital Medicine Track
Who: Three PGY2 (or PGY3 med/peds) residents and three PGY3 (or PGY4 med/peds) residents. There is an application and selection process. Preference will be given to those planning on hospital medicine as a career.
When: The course spans two academic years. Participants receive a certificate at resident graduation after successful completion of the program

- regular journal club, dedicated small group lectures
- end of two-year track project
- longitudinal hospital committee participation
- private world hospitalist experience
